Advantages and composition of a LSHZ cable

A LSZH cable is known as a Low Smoke Zero Halogen cable. Its jacket is made of polypropylene. This type of material has excellent safety properties due to its resistance to corrosion, low toxicity, including its nearly cero smoke and corrosive gas emission when exposed to intense heat or fire. These LSZH cables must comply with the international standards to guaranttee their performance: IEC 60754 for halogen-free; IEC 61034 for low-smoke emission; and IEC 60332 for their resistance to flame propagation.
